Guess the hidden word in the least number of tries. You have a maximum of eight guesses.
Write your word and hit Enter to submit your guess.
The tiles will change colour dependent on how close your guess is to the hidden word.
You guessed CIRCLE. The I and E are both green, meaning they are in the correct position. The first C is yellow, meaning there is a C in the word, but it is in the incorrect position. Note that there is a second C which is grey. This indicates that there is not a second C in the hidden word. The R and L are both grey, which means that there are no Rs or Ls in the hidden word.
You guessed INVITE. In this case the hidden word has two Is. One of the Is is in the correct location and is green. The other I is in the incorrect location and is therefore yellow. There are no Ns, Vs, Ts or Es in the hidden word.
You guessed CACTII. This has turned red because it is not a valid word, maybe you were thinking of the plural of cactus, which is cacti?
A new word will be available every day. You can also practice on a random word as often as you like.
